Very sweet place, with such lovely decor and atmosphere that we just stumbled across at the end of our walk around Eyam. Great soup selection and looked like lovely cakes

A lovely cosy place to visit with a roaring fire and plenty of outdoor seating which would be perfect in the summer. Ordered the chocolate fudge cake (huge slice!) and warm scone with jam and cream which was needed after a long day’s walking.

Well, if you were trying to find the best soup in the country - this place is your solution! The portion is perfect, flavour and texture is spot on, service is just on the different level. We also had two types of cake and oh my god, never tried anything better than that… Warm Chocolate cake and Rhubarb and raspberry crumble is the only thing you can wish for in UK rainy weather. Definitely will be back

Romantic vintage-style little tea room with indoor and outdoor seating, tucked away on the edge of Eyam. Cakes are homemade, fresh and tasty, tea and coffee good quality and generous portions. The owner is lovely, an interesting person to speak to and goes the extra mile where service is concerned. Can recommend highly. Savoury food and Sunday dinners also on offer.

Must visit in Eyam! Although we’ve arrived 5 minutes before closure (open on Sundays 11am-5pm) the lovely host made us tea and served us her delicious, with love home baked scones. The tea was served with cute cups and cutlery. We sat in the beautiful outside area with flowers blooming. We have been invited to roam around in the private garden and look at all the flowers. Due to network problems, the card machine didn’t work but the friendly lady offered us to transfer the money once we would have reception again - this is pure kindness and trust in people which is rare to find these days. The visit at the tea house was the highlight of the day and we would recommend it to everyone! Dog friendly.

This was the most remarkable find, it honestly felt like a mirage! After visiting another cafe just down the road and paying £20.15 for two flat whites, a tea cake, and a slither of pastry, we then wanted to just have a quick look for next time but we were instantly captivated. We felt like we had been transported into a Beatrix Potter book! The owner was so friendly and prepares and cooks everything herself. A great deal of care clearly went into everything and the chicken hotpot was delicious and very filling. It is decorated so wonderfully and the vintage teaware and details make it truly magical. We can't wait to return!

A cosy and homely hidden gem run by a lovely lady. The lamb hot pot was absolutely delicious, and the rhubarb and raspberry crumble was fantastic. We will definitely be returning soon!
